Hi everyone, My name is Kevin. I’m originally a Mayo man but based in Dublin in Mount Merrion for my work. I have been living in an owner occupied house with an elderly lady for the past 6 years which has benefited us both greatly. I do the lawns, some light house work, collect prescription, some shopping, leave out mediation etc plus the owner has the security, support, trust, companionship and can more importantly live independently in her own house like the vast majority of us would like. Unfortunately this lady has been in/out of hospital a lot in the past 3 months due to medical conditions and my fear is she may end up going into long term care. I would love to find someone either male or female ideally in the area/surrounding area who would benefit from my presence in their lives. I have many years caring for my granny in the past. With my work I’m in hospitals on a daily basis and when I meet elderly patients on the corridors sometimes it’s just a simple chat which can bring so much pleasure and enjoyment to their day.
